Bioclimatic architecture

Green Office® Bordeaux features a bioclimatic design. The building’s highly energy-efficient curtain wall lets in abundant natural light for occupant comfort, while reducing power consumption. Green Office® Bordeaux has no false ceilings in order to benefit from the thermal inertia of the slab system and its sun protection system minimises the need for cooling in the building. There are also a host of planted areas that can be used as meeting spaces to promote friendly exchange.

Building concept

An ideal working environment

Green Office® Bordeaux has been designed to ensure the comfort and well-being of its occupants. Amenities include a reception area, a conference room, a multi-purpose room, office space and meeting rooms on the ground floor and the first floor. A terrace, a company restaurant and a cafeteria are located on the second floor and the offices on the second floor to the seventh floor offer views of the city and the river.

The building features two panoramic lifts to access the different levels as well as staircases, which will be surrounded by “eco-pockets” of vegetation planted between the building’s interior and exterior to encourage users to take the stairs and foster a friendly working environment.

Facing the city and the natural environment

Green Office® Bordeaux offers views of the city and planted areas to enhance the occupants’ working environment. The building is divided into three superimposed sections. The first section is a transparent base featuring wide open areas to facilitate access between the embankment and the building. On the second floor, a predominantly glazed deck area looks out onto the Garonne River. This floor is also home to the restaurant/cafeteria and the multi-purpose room. On top of this are five floors of offices. The overall impression is of a building which blends effortlessly into its environment
